as a comm tech, computer tech, ad naseum. The last job I did with the DOD was teaching snot-nosed punk (read commissioned dudes) how to map, fly and disperse NWD. We called it NWDS...nuclear weapons dispersal systems.I left AD after so many years...wanted to be a fighter pilot, but after two years realized that commissoned folks were, for the most part, assholes. Made E-6 in 5.5 years...best in the AFC (32675A...Integrated Avionics...F-111A, F -11B...add F-16, F-15, F-4, C-130, C-141...ad infinutem Navy...F-14.F -4...Skyhawk, fromVietnam era...C-141 Super Coni...I worked them all all, all avionics, and left to do installation engineereing for the FAA in 1990. These days I publish a bowhunting magazine, own a real estate condo, run a vending business for my daughter, and am generally a fuck off...and I love it! \ But I still miss the thrill of battlefield avionics, and making sure my planes delivered the shit as ordered...but I am much to old and too far beyond the old days! Yes; we are both nerds, but I am an older nerd! Try 48! Teej
